Material: Made of Iroko wood. Iroko wood used in our products is a type of wood that grows in Central and West African countries. Since it contains oil, it does not hold water and thus does not produce bacteria. When the Iroko tree is cut while it is still wet, the body resin leaks cover the cut area and hardens. This substance creates a glass-like surface and prevents decay. It is resistant to rain, wind, humidity, sun and cold. Suitable for use in outdoor furniture, joinery and coatings.
The color of the Iroko tree has inhomogeneous yellow tones. When it comes into contact with the sun and oxygen, it turns into brown and chocolate tones over time, creating a homogeneous appearance. Iroko wood is a preferred wood type under harsh conditions such as exterior cladding, parquet floors of boats and outdoor furniture.
Maintenance & Cleaning: Teak oil is applied to the surfaces of products made of Iroko wood to gain durability against external influences. Thanks to this oil, the duration of use of the product is increased without deforming. However, of course, since wood is a natural material, after a certain period of time, the maintenance time of the product will come. The maintenance periods of the wood may vary depending on the use and the external effects to which the product is exposed. The external factor that deforms the product in the shortest time is the sun rays. Therefore, it is recommended that the product should not be in direct contact with the sun rays during the hot summer months. The maintenance time of the wood can be understood from the color change of the product and the rough surfaces felt in the product structure by contact. In this case, first sand the deformed surface by hand with 180 grit sandpaper and remove the surface lumps, then apply transparent teak oil to the sanded surface with a brush or polishing cloth (topüpü). After this simple process, you can restore your product to the appearance of the first day you bought it.
Fabric: Cushions are included in the set. Special fabric suitable for balcony & garden use is used.
Packaging: The product is delivered assembled. The product is packaged with disposable packaging nylon and cardboard box.
