The story of BEKALIVING is based on Beka Furniture, founded in 1970 by Baki Özdemir in Beyoğlu district of Istanbul. This commercial adventure, which started as a sofa upholstery workshop, continued its success story in Istanbul with the Beka Çam brand in the 80s.

In the 90s, Beka Furniture became one of the leading companies in Turkey by importing and exporting furniture to countries such as Germany, Italy and Spain. During this period, Beka Furniture also undertook the distributorship of Italian Arredo Classic and Spanish Vidal Grau brands in Turkey.
